A group for anyone who can offer their time in prayer. Prayer leaflets for the month are sent out to each member of the group, to read and pray at a time convenient to the individual. The Catenian Association is an international brotherhood of practising Catholic laymen who meet socially, at least once a month, for mutual support and fellowship. The Ascent Group meets on the second Monday of each month at 2pm in the Parish Hall. It exists for both men and ladies in the parish who are in their middle/later years and who would like to be part of a friendly group who care for and support each other. At each meeting there is some spiritual input and discussion followed by social interaction over a cup or tea. From time to time outings and events are organised.
